How to install BlueParrott App app for Windows 10 / 11 INVASIVE! It doesn't need to have your camera, contacts, messenger SMS, files & media. This headset is the last I'll buy a blue parrot. However, it can be very frustrating when you need to dial a number again to speak to someone. The s650XT is much more comfortable than the old one. Although the packaging claims noise cancellation of 90 percent, I find myself drowned out by background noise and absolutely no volume. This set, which is the exact same one I buy every morning, was bought today. I only replaced them when they became worn out. Is it possible for a product to be so bad? Blue Parrot headsets have been my favorite for many years. I am reminded by the app to update my firmware, but there's no option to do so. It is the most annoying earpiece I have ever used. I wanted to love it but there were many problems. The app showcases that BP does not care about updating its products. This design has been around for several years and is definitely outdated. It doesn't connect to previously synced and paired headsets so you will have to reconnect them all the time. It takes some time to get used to the way things work. The app doesn't offer much information about the available options or configurations for the headset. The alerts continue to pop up when the device is off and I wish it would stop. My device is only on when I am on the move or in an area where it needs to ring. However, I believe the latest update may have caused a notification which will not be resolved. BlueParrot was the first to try it and I am glad that I did. After some research I found out that my phone could be reset to factory settings, or you can delete individual apps. I ended up purchasing a new back cover and camera (glass). It was thought that changing the hardware of my camera would solve it. The flashlight and camera stopped working. Half of all my apps crashed due to this app. Status bar indicates that the headset isn't connected even though it appears connected in the BT Menu. Blue parrot button functionality in the app does not work with headset attached, I think. Which is to help people who don’t know tech. However, the same problem.Īlthough I am not certain if there are any over-the-air updates available for the 550, I believe the app has done at least its job. It would be great to have it work with Google Assistant. It was checked to make sure the headset is up-to-date on Windows PC. When you press the Blue Parrot Button, it will briefly say "Lauching App", and do nothing. Keep it open on your lock screen or in the background to minimize it. It works but it will not work if the Blue Parrot App is open. They are fantastic otherwise and I need to know why. It had been stamped 21 and it has done this a dozen more times in two weeks. The headset was not updated and I went to buy a replacement. It does not get any better after I have updated to the latest firmware. It happens most often when I'm trying to get something important done. The phone keeps ringing at random on my expensive 550xt. Otherwise, the headset wouldn't allow the call to connect to my headset. It took me 3-6 seconds to answer the phone when it rang. I had to turn off the phone, hang up on calls and disconnect from my mobile device. Before I installed the app, mine was crashing. Everybody complained that the headset wasn't working properly after downloading the app. Returned to the competitor with better features. Although the device appears to be connected, it does not allow me to select an option. This piece of sh*t was created by who? People, do better. It will improve the quality and usability of your hardware. Although headsets can be great, I suggest retooling your software. It's not worth the cost if you compare it to other reviews. I was asked to sign in, but the app crashed immediately and refused to launch. My smartphone is more recent and up-to-date. I couldn't open the app after downloading it. I believe they made this app to gather data. It would have been easy to program the headset so that the Blue parrot's bttn settings could be modified with just a few pushes, or by holding the device down like a watch. It was only for the purpose of "programming" my Blue parrot button on my Motorola 550XT. If they improve it and add this feature, I'll give them 5 stars. Except for the play pause stop, all hardware products are amazing. Even though my Bluetooth headset is on low power for two days, it still comes up claiming it has full power. The only thing that disappointed me about my 450 is the inability to include the play/pause button.
